Media Directorate of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research:
In accordance to the Ministry of Higher Education decree regarding those High Diploma, Master, and PhD Candidates as well as the scientific title applicants who have taken at least one of the internationally standardized tests of English, but have not been able to fulfill the required score, English Placement Tests will take place. For this purpose, a meeting between language centers and AMIDEAST organization was held under the supervision of Dr. Amanj Saed- Advisor of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
In the meeting, Mr. Foad Ali-Assistant of the Director of Studies and Development, Christopher Liddellow- Supervisor of AMIDEAST in Kurdistan and Iraq, and Directors of language centers in (Salahaddin, Sulaimaniya, Dohuk, Rapareen) Universities were present and talked about the possibility of opening language courses.
Mr. Akrem Abbas-Spokesman of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research declared that in the meeting they discussed about opening English courses.
